Episode 1: Creating the abandoned shuttle, feeder tunnel and the base geometry for the USS Callister
On this project we teamed up with our sister company Scorpio CGI to create three assets for the TV series Black Mirror.
Here you can see the final model we created for the abandoned shuttle. We were provided an art department model to work from and had to create an asset ready to be used in production.
Below is the final image of the feeder tunnel. We were provided with a scan of the onset tunnel and to match and UV the model.
Finally the USS Callister. Here we were provided with a reference model and had to create the base geometry ready for other artists to detail. We refined and laid out the main shape and features.
